Four members of the Executive Committee of the Pentecostal World Fellowship were reelected July 18 in Surabaya, Indonesia, to serve for the 2007-2010 triennium. Bishop James D. Leggett, General Superintendent of the International Pentecostal Holiness Church (USA), was returned to the office of chairman.
Additional officers reelected to the Executive Committee are Dr. Lamar Vest (USA), vice-chairman, Dr. Prince Guneratnam (Malaysia), secretary, and Dr. Isak Burger (South Africa), officer.
Three new members completing the Executive Committee include Dr. Bill Morrow (Canada), Rev. Jack-Tommy Ardenfors (Sweden), and Dr. Matthew Thomas (India).
In addition to these officers, the 26-member PWF Advisory Committee includes Rev. Ingolf Ellssel (Germany), Dr. Jack Hayford (USA), Rev. Ernest Komanapalli (India), Rev. Dennis McGuire (USA), Dr. Alex Tanuseputra (Indonesia), Rev. Pavel Rivis Tipei (Romania), Dr. Arto Hämäläinen (Finland), Rev. Brian Houston (Australia), Rev. Gunnar Jeppestol (Norway), Bishop George McKinney (USA), Dr. David Mohan (India), Rev. Samuel Uchimura (Japan), Rev. Jose Wellington (Brazil), Rev. Serafin Contreras Galeano (Central America), William F. Kumuyi (Nigeria), Dr. Paul Weaver (Europe), and Rev. Dag Mills (Ghana). Two additional members are yet to be named.
The PWF Advisory Board accepted the invitation to convene the 22nd Pentecostal World Conference in Stockholm, Sweden in August 2010.
